CONGRATULATIONS PHS CLASS OF 2009!!!

If you went to Prairie High School in Vancouver/Brush Prairie, Washington, USA, you've come to the right place! This is the only site made by and for the alumni of Prairie High School. Teachers, faculty and staff members (substitutes, too), transfers and dropouts are also encouraged to apply. It's quick, easy and fun! Tell your friends, family, classmates and colleagues! What have you Falcons been up to? This web site will be frequently updated, so come back often. Of the 12,000+ students who attended Prairie since it opened, only 702 alumni have signed up so far. We want more, so please join us and help spread the word!

A Word from the Webmaster

Hello everyone.

It has been a very hectic last couple of months. Between work and school, I have not had much time to work on the site (and I apologize, once again). I want to congratulate the PHS Class of 2009 for graduating this month. You are now officially PHS alumni!!!

To mark the ten year anniversary of the Prairie High School Alumni Web Site, there will be a major renovation taking place all summer. Look for changes by the middle of September, which will include the new forms and a new message board (for the first time in three years). Later this year, I will schedule a meeting to discuss the formation of an alumni association and get ideas from everyone participating. I will also discuss the topic of the alumni association. Announcements will be made on this site as well as on Classmates, Facebook, MySpace and others. I am currently working on the first draft of the proposed alumni association charter after I get the forms online and will have it available online for viewing sometime in middle to late September. Thanks for your patience everyone and keep spreading the word about this site.

PLEASANT VALLEY CLASS OF 1984, 25-YEAR REUNION (For 1988 High School Grads)
A grade school reunion will take place this summer at Daybreak Park in Battle Ground on Sunday, July 26 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Click here for details. All upcoming PHS reunions can be found here.

ALUMNI GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 1st Annual Prairie versus Battle Ground Alumni Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 with a 1:30 PM shotgun start at The Cedars Golf Course in Brush Prairie. This will be a fun and competitive two person best ball golf tournament. Find a partner and team up. Individual players may also participate, and arrangements can be made to pair you up with someone from your own school. Cost will be $75.00 which includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and use of the range. There will be an after-tournament banquet/party at the Prairie Bar and Grill in Brush Prairie. Persons under 21 can still participate in the festivities, along with bragging rights for 2 years, making this an event that you just should not miss. Space is limited so if you are interested please contact "Shap" ASAP to register or if you know of anyone that would like to help sponsor. Donations are also accepted.

New and updated alumni entries on this site are now indicated with icons next to the person's name listed. They will have either the "NEW IN 2009" icon (indicating a new entry) or an "UPDATED" icon (indicating a recently updated entry).

YEARBOOK COVERS ARE STILL NEEDED
Coming this fall when the site is renovated, the Talon section will be removed, and the yearbook covers will be moved to the graduating class home page (for example, the yearbook cover for 2004 will be relocated to the Class of 2004 home page). The following yearbook covers are still needed: 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. If you happen to have photos of the yearbook covers listed, please email the webmaster at jayson@jaysononline.com. Yearbook covers for all other years can be found by clicking here.
