Raymond John Heup was born on July 24, 1964 to Raymond and Judy (Morton) Heup in Vancouver, WA and graduated from Prairie High School in 1982. Ray passed away at his home in Bay City, OR on December 12, 2010 at the age of 46.

After school Ray worked as a siding contractor for most of his life. He moved to the Oregon coast in 1993. Ray was united in marriage to Jaimie Cofer on May 18, 1991. He enjoyed his step-grandchildren, and loved them as his own and was very active in their lives. Ray had a green thumb, as he was an avid gardener.

Ray leaves behind to honor his life, his loving family: brothers, George Heup of Bay City and Richard Heup of Battle Ground, WA; sister, Becky Bigley of Vancouver, WA; two step-children, Codi and Andy Cofer; and two step-grandchildren, Hailey and Logan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jaimie; and by his parents.
