These were some of the events
that have taken place since the twenty-year reunion. Special thanks to Rick
Dronen for providing the details.
- On Saturday, November 20, 2004, a
few classmates met at Joe's Crab Shack in Vancouver. Those who attended
were Angela (Diehl) Rogers and husband Alan, Lynette (Grove) Allen and
husband Craig, Rick Dronen & Denice Dronen, Brett & Sherri Robb,
Chris Young, Jeff Stone & Karen Wagner. We had a pretty good time,
laughing and talking about the reunion last August and calling Dennis
Weiser to harass him a bit! Rick officially gave the responsibility of
planning the next gathering to Karen. Wish more of you could have
attended...maybe next time!
- Karen arranged the next gathering
and it was held Saturday, January 29, 2005, at the Ram Big Horn Brewing
Company & Restaurant in Puyallup, WA giving consideration to those
who live in that area. Attending were Cheryl (Metro) Jessop and husband
Joe, Karen Wagner, Rick & Denice Dronen & Chris Young. We had a
great dinner and drinks and an awesome server! We then met for breakfast
at Denny's and the president himself, Richard Thomas graced us with his
presence...Gotta love Richard! So now it's Richard's turn to plan the
next gathering and he is talking sometime in April or May. Stay tuned
for the details and hopefully you can attend.
- The June 4, 2005 gathering at
Joe's Crab Shack in Vancouver went well. There were about 15 of us
there and had a great time. We learned that Dennis Wiser has a
hidden talent and could possibly hold the world record for tying a
cherry stem in a knot with his tongue in about 7 seconds flat! We
held chair races across the floor and sat at a rotating table which
provided for a change in scenery, drinks, smokes, cell phones and purses
throughout the night. The night ended at Club 99 in Hazel Dell
with a little dancing and a couple of pitchers of beer and the hand off
of planning the next gathering to Shelly (Marinenko) Cocklin and Brett
Robb.

On Saturday, March 29, 2008, the Class of 1984 had a gathering at Who Song & Larry's in Vancouver. Those who attended were
Brett & Sherri Robb, Dennis & Nancy Weisser, Rick & Denise
Dronen, Cindee (Trombley) Shaffer, Katie (Edwards) & husband
(sorry, didn't get his name), Chris Young & bride to be Marla
Stone, Shelly (Marinenko) Cocklin and Kevin & Nicole Rothe. We
toasted our class and talked a little about our 25th year reunion. We
learned that Chris and Marla are getting married in Hawaii, the Robbs
are all well and in one piece, and the Dronens are being relocated to
Mexico for 18 months. Cindee and Katie volunteered to begin planning
for next year's reunion and the Weissers will plan the next group
gathering....so watch your email for place and time.

Dennis Weisser (actually his lovely wife Nancee) is
organizing another gathering for our class. We all had a great time at the last meeting....and hope more can attend the next one.
